The lawyers and staff of Zamora and Poblador Law Offices announce with profound sadness the passing of Atty. Napoleon J. Poblador, a founding partner and the managing partner of the firm, on 2 September 2026.

NJP, or Pol to his close friends, was deeply dedicated to the legal profession and was well-respected by his peers for his brilliant mind and sharp wit. He inspired confidence in his colleagues and was known for his golden heart, generosity, and wonderful sense of humor.

Most of all, he was a devoted husband to Gigi and an exemplary father to his four children.

We ask that you keep Pol and his family in your thoughts during this difficult time.

PROMOTIONS TO SENIOR ASSOCIATE

The Firm's Executive Committee and General Partnership approved the promotion of Mr. Cris Marco V. Banaag to Senior Associate effective 1 December 2025. Mr. Banaag graduated cum laude from the University of the Philippines in 2016 with a degree in Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing. He obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of the Philippines in 2021 and was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2022.

The Firm's Executive Committee and General Partnership approved the promotion of Mr. Kyle Andrew H. Cruz to Senior Associate effective 1 September 2025. Mr. Cruz graduated from the Ateneo de Manila University in 2016 with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Management with a Minor Degree in Economics. He obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of the Philippines in 2020. He was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2022.
